Q:
What's wrong with YouTube?
A: YouTube is a ground-breaking website and a fantastic tool, which is why we use it. However, there are mountains and mountains of irrelevant content. We glean out the irrelevant and low quality movies to show you the best from independent filmmakers in your area.

Q:
What is this site about?
A: Our objective is to connect moviemakers with the talent, equipment and resources to realize their creative vision. You cannot make a movie by yourself and the most important aspect of this site is to help you collaborate with other moviemakers.

Q:
How is this different from IMDB?
A: IMDB is a valuable resource for moviewatchers but not for moviemakers. In order to collaborate with other moviemakers, you need to be able to see their work and contact them. You can do both here. It also helps that you don't have to wait for months for an editor to approve your profile/movie (that is, if they ever approve or even respond to your request).

Q:
Hollywood is a closed system. We are open.
A: Hollywood has traditionally been a system where you have to know someone to get a job. This is not necessarily a bad thing - reputation is important and the wrong person can bring an entire production down. The problem is that Hollywood has developed in such a way that people are given opportunities not based on merit but rather based on who they know or who their parents are. We welcome the unknown individual to show their talent in a system that is merit and reputation based.
